Sharpening Blades – Quick Info
Blades should be sharpened every 10-20 hours of use. It keeps your grass healthier and it’s less wear and tear on the mower. The mower won’t have to work as hard leading to a cleaner cut, mulching the grass in the process and alleviating the clumping of grass.
When is the best time?
Well it definitely won’t be until after you are done mowing over all the leaves that about to fall along with the sticks. The best time to sharpen your blades is the beginning of the season or after you are done with all of your clean-ups (spring and fall). Mower Doctor sharpens blades with every tune-up.
